The Academy

Nritya Kala Kendra Inc. founded in 1992 is a non-profit community cultural organization. The Academy is focused on developing and maintaining an ongoing program dedicated to the cultivation and preservation of Indian performing arts and culture in the United States.

 

NKK endeavors to inform and educate about the diverse cultures of India and the rest of the world. We intend to serve as a conduit for promotion of cultures, the arts and world history.

 

 

Our Mission :

 

  • To promote the performing arts and culture of India in the United States and abroad, through classes, lectures, seminars, publications and concerts.

  • To enrich and advance the cultural and artistic knowledge of the community.

  • To serve as a channel of communication between the United States and other countries in the field of the Arts.
